why would it be a waste, we bought sav's that cost 2x as much as an american suv and that's what other's say about us:rofl: it's all about "taste" and I want the x5 to have that modern LED look in the back, because that is what's hot now. And that's all I could muster up as far as an excuse for spending 300 on lights. |
this is what i was gonna say. If you really wanted to save money, why bought a BMW, just buy a Kia or something, and looks makes a big difference, it gives the X modern look as hpjunkie said.

Hmm, 300 bucks on tails that don't use the same LED pattern as the rest of BMW or a 45,000 difference between entire cars...... |

but i agree with jay and wagner, 300 for tail lights just to be modern is superfluous. i'm driving an X5, it's modern enough. i guess even the new E70s' tails still aren't that modern ;) |
if you think $300 is crazy wasting of money? those e60 member guys pay $1K for just 2 little pieces of splitters for the mtech bumper. x5 community is a little nursing home while e60 forum is highschool. nothing else to add.

The right passenger tail light looks funny lit....Or is it just me?

Congrats on the mod!!!
LEDs are much brighter than the regular oem bulbs which make them safer (people behind you see them better @ nite and under foggy conditions) plus the look sweeet!!! |

Exactly! :iagree:
Or when someone pays $349 + shipping for Angel iBright angel eyes which is nothing more than a piece of aluminum with bright LED bulbs. That's what I call overpriced. Quote:
