X Pipe Installed
 

I just had an X pipe installed on my 4.6 and it sounds GREAT!
Like others here have said it's not too obnoxious at all. Adds maybe ten or fifteen percent, noticed mostly as I take off from a stop. You know how good the motor and exhaust sounds if you really get on it hard from a stop? Well with the X pipe on it sounds like that but you don't have to get so deep into the gas.
I use the X5 for business so I can't have it too loud and was worried that it would be too loud but it's just fine.
At $75 for the pipe and $100 to get installed it's a cheap upgrade.

it should sound way better that that on 4.6
maybe you nee to try different setting on your camcorder?

I did a search on this forum under "X pipe" and came up with the pics in the above link, bottom of page two. I printed those pics and took them to my local muffler shop and told them to make it look like the picture. Mine looks exactly like the one pictured.

It really sounds great!
