Where do I find tire chains in Canada???
So it is REALLY winter and I need chains for the 30 foot hill I back down with the trailer filled with horse poop every weekend!
I had chains for my Jimmy with 15" wheels, but they are too small for my 235/65R17 winter tires. Canadian tire USED to sell them, but I can't find them online...so I assume they don't stock them anymore. Any ideas anyone??? :dunno: |
the bmw accessories catalog has them

Thanks, but I bet they are expensive if they are in the BMW catalogue?

See if SCC will ship to Canada => http://www.scc-chain.com/Traction%20...Trac_home.html They have very good customer service, when I dealt with them a couple years ago.

I was hoping to not have to order online, I could use them like today or tomorrow, and the rest of the winter... Maybe they are IN the Canadian Tire store and i just need to phone and ask..... |
Just as a follow-up, I did in the end purchase tires from tirechains.com.
The chains cost about $90 bucks and there was duty after the fact of about $50. Worth every penny! The delivery was quick and the product exactly what I needed. I sold my old chains from my Jimmy on craigslist for $50, so it worked out fine! Thanks, all! |
