Nav update to stock 03 X5..?
 

hello Guys.! long time without posting.
So, i have the stock 03 4.6I with Nav. i believe comes with MKIV.

I have downloaded into a CD V30. I got the instructions, it cant be that simple, it is a BMW afterall... :confused:

Am i missing something, or it is really that simple. Im trying to get my NAV no too look so old/basic. I heard with the V30 i could have 3D, and other cool stuff, any feedback guys..?

It is really that simple. Burn the CD, pop it in the nav computer drive and watch the screen go. I just did it on my 01, no problem.

May be a MkIII - if it has DVD on it, then it's a MkIV

With a MkIII on an old version, you may need a CD Key to update. Otherwise, it really IS that simple. My local BMW $tealer charges 1 hour to do the update which takes 5 mins!

thank you all. believe it or not, called my dealer, they said, bring it in, no charge, V30 upload, drove out within 15 min with all the cool features, 3D, etc.
