No luck after rebooting the computer via battery disconnect and also checked the fuses in the "hidden" in the engine compartment - no luck.
I will be making an appointment with one of local dealer and see if they can help... |
Update:
It cost me $1,250.00 to repair this and they said that it was "general module" which was about $450.00 part and the rest was the labor....... |

Yes.. Ouch!! Sorry to hear.
When that happened on my X5, the fault code indicated it was reset to "transport mode". In transport mode, you can only use the key to unlock the doors and the central locking system gets disabled. They just reset the mode back to "Sales" mode and everything was back to normal. With yours, the actual system was probably defective.... at least that's what they told you. |
