Anyone try plastic welding?

I was about to spend about 100 bucks to get a part welded and I came across this http://www.arizonatools.com/detail/URE5600HT/

I got one and will give it a shot myself.

Check out this post from Yenko.net. The fellow restoring his Trans Am did a lot of research into plastic repair. Really Nice guy!! If you have any questions you think he might be able to hel you out with I would shoot him an email.
