it goes into the radiator and I can see coolant dripping from it.

I found out that is a hose that connects the power steering reservoir to radiator. Could that be used to cool the power steering fluid? Any idea?

I believe the power steering has it's own cooling unit up from, from what I can see. If you have coolant on those lines I'd check the upper radiator hose and the smaller coolant hoses that connect to the coolant tank and secondary water pump.

Don't know what engine or year X5 you have . . . . so the above is a guess.

its called Power Steering Hose, Cooling Coil to Fluid Container...

any idea how to remove the hose?

I believe those connectors are the same as the fuel hoses. the metal collar is spring loaded. you push the collar together towards the connection and it'll release.

thanks. good to know that. I will try it once it stops raining
