Factory Alarm & Battery
 

Hey guys........i go out to get into my x5 today and i turn the key and nothing happens. I assume the battery is dead so i proceed to call a buddy of mine to help me with the jump. A neighbor comes out of his house and tells me that my alarm was going off numerous times during the night for no apparent reason. One neighbor even called the cops and put a complaint in that my car kept going off...........my question is, what would cause the alarm to keep going off? Would the battery really have anything to do with it?

were all the windows up and the x parked on a even ground (no ramp)

yes.....it was parked and all locked up

ok, then i would say battery...have it tested.

I got the battery teste dand it was fine..................i can only assume it had soemthing to do with the alarm going off over and over and over again. How can i disable the alarm fully?

Hood sensor.

Besides the dealer....is there any where i can buy one?
