There is more than one type, and the safe way to determine which one it is is to refer to the label stuck on the transmission pan. The dealer fluid is more expensive, but you are more likely to get the correct fluid. Putting in the wrong fluid will be very expensive.

Thanks for the quick respond guys. I will ask my brother to lift the car and check the oil type then more questions will come. Really appreciate the knowledge base and skills from this forum.

No need to lift, unless your X5 is lowered; just slide under and look. The sticker is easy to spot.
