Face kift car's 6sp transmission

Does anyone on here know whether the 6sp ZF gearbox used in the 4.4i auto has the same reliability issues as the old 5sp gearboxes that were in the pre face lift car.

It has issues, that can't be denied. Some go out at 30,000 miles while others last indefinitely.

Do a couple searches and you'll see some opinions.
