MOD Support Group in New England

Ok...Ok...I am prepared to melt some plastic after being addicted to this place for the better part of a week. Anyone here from Ma, or RI and willing to do some mods together. I have a big garage and most tools. Two heads are better than one and from my experience moding my Harley Davidson, someone with the know how locally is a real help. Let me know.

Yes...the mods are quite addicting and it seems there is no end to the amount of mods you can make on the X5. I purchased my 2001 X5 4.4i a few weeks ago and got a reasonable deal considering it is a CPO car with only 30k miles. I could have purchased a low miles 2003 model for what I am dumping into this car with mods. Everytime I turn around I find another think I want to add to it. Its scary.

Good luck...Two heads are better than one. The only problem with a buddy to help out is you will constantly try to out mod each other.

Jan - you can't just bait the hook and leave us hanging here :tsk:

How about some hints ;)

Hmmm ... let's see :D

It is for the inside of the car and required shipping parts to Australia  ...
A small side project included in this is a potential solution for the ever peeling door handles , but it's not the main purpose why I shipped the parts...

We'll see how it turns out

Ok one more "hint"

Now I gave it away ....

nothing like a little carbon fiber action...should look good. Someone else did that on here and I believe it looked pretty good.
