Request for Members trying to fix issues
First off, thanks to EVERYONE for all of the great information and support.
I have a request for everyone that posts on here with issues looking for help. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE follow up with your post and let us know what the outcome/ fix was to your issue. I have had some problems with my X recently and actually HAVE used the "Search" function on the site. I have found others with related issues, members give their opinions/ guidance, but then the post stops with no resolution. I have sent out some PMs to these members and they have been kind enough to respond back (THANKS!!), but it would be great if the info was out there for everyone to see and utilize. Just a suggestion to make this site even better!!!! |
Good suggestion
Oh and can you please keep us updated as to whether your suggestion is working or not!:nanana: |

If you PM them and they have been kind enough to respond back, ask them at that time to update their post. ;)

:iagree:
It is useful and polite if those taking info and tips then update threads where able, (however successful). If folk don't do this then there may be a decline in those happy to help which may mean the number of helpful contributors may diminish as a result. This board is about sharing info not just taking it. |

But sometimes it's also about how badly a newbie gets beaten about the head and shoulders for asking a question some of the old timers feel has been answered enough. Just because THEY know it was answered doesn't mean the newbie does. And searching for a thread you don't know exists isn't always easy, especially if you don't use the correct search words. I totally agree with updating question posts to give answers about results. But sometimes someone trying to solve a problem asks a question and gets so railed on, they just bail out and never come back. This Board tends to go by rather fast, and threads get buried until someone resurrects them later on, only to be told that question has been resolved elsewhere. It's tough trying to sort it all out. I think... Dave |

Point taken but what do you do about these sorts of questions? http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e70-forum/...?highlight=tpm First, I informed him it was in the Owners' Manual. That wasn't enough. Second, I actually posted the pictures with TPM from the Owners' Manual. That wasn't enough. Third, I told him exactly where he could find the Owners' Manual and even gave him the link and suggested that he download the manual. Was that enough? Who knows... Regards . . . . Brian |

You are absolutely correct. The operative word in my post was "sometimes." Some people just need to be beaten. :spank: LOL! Dave |
