Bluetooth/voice reg module
 

If I remember correctly some said that there is a Bluetooth module that has voice reg to control the nave and the phone commandands,
does anyone has the part# and how can i tell if my 02X5 04/02 biuld is pre- :rolleyes: wire for it ?

Check out the articles on the main page of xoutpost.com site. If you can find a blue harness tucked in the back of the X5 (by the CD changer area), then you're pre-wired.

The Visteon BT module from 2nd generation and on should have the Voice Recognition functionality built-in. See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=171 for part numbers.

If you have a U.S. spec vehicle with Nav then 99.9% chance that you can retrofit the BT system. You can find several retrofit examples at http://www.xoutpost.com/html.php?file=bt.htm

Also your dealer/parts department can print out a build sheet for your car. This will tell you all the options installed on your X5. If the list includes SA640 you're pre-wired for Bluetooth.

tomorrow my X is going to the stealer for a remplacement of the Light Control Module that they said was bad, and hopefully my xenons will work,
plus they are going to check out the rear right window, it is making a funny noise. so while they are at it i`ll ask them to do a print out of all the options installed on my X 04/02 build..
