WeatherTech Window Deflectors
What is everyone's take on the Weathertech Window Deflectors? :dunno:
I've yet to see any X5's w/ them? |
I've got'em. It's nice to be able to leave the windows open a bit when it's raining or when it's hot out without other people knowing the windows are open.
Here's a somewhat decent picture of them... http://www.ekaz.net/images/DSC00019.JPG |
very nice.....
are they the Dark version or the lightly tinted version? also, in addition to window deflectors, what do u all think of sunroof deflectors? |
I got the dark verison, smoke I think it's called. I'm not too fond of the sunroof deflectors as they seemed to take up most of the sunroof in other cars, shouldn't be a problem in an X with pano though. I was thinking about trying one of the slime sunroof deflectors but haven't taken the plunge yet....
|
i've been going back and forth about the window deflectors. i put them on my old vehicle and was quite happy w/ them. i might have to take the plunge and dive in head first. thanks for the pic.
|
don't have any pics, but i have both the wind deflector for the sunroof and the BMW window deflectors. They look pretty good IMO.

Can you post a pic? I would be interested to know how they look together. |
I have a new sunroof deflector for a non-pano roof X5. If someone wants it, you can have it for free. Well, not quite free. You need to pay for shipping, and make a small donation to X5World. PM me if you are interested.

hey guys question, doesnt the fact that they go into the window channel make the tips of the windows scratch?
|
That's what I thought too, but no scratching. I heard it hit the first time I rolled the windows up as it pushed them completely in, nothing since. :dunno:
