different oils between oil changes?

i plan to change my oil at 5000 kilometers on my bmw x5 3.0 diesel... i plan to use mobil 1 fully synthetic instead of castrol.... when my oil service is due, the dealer would put castrol.. is it okay to use mobil 1 then switch to castrol when my oil service is due? :dunno:
