If anyone has a OEM wheel around, can anyone measure how much bolt length is there from the back of the wheel, after you put the bolt in / seated . It's my understanding the OEM bolt is 33mm, with databases saying 30mm is fine.

I need to determine what bolt length I need with these aftermarket wheels.
Whether it be 30, 33 and or 35..........It's only talking maybe an extra/less thread pitch...but might as well strive for OEM length while I'm at it.

got wheel and bolt ,but no ruler to measuring.

Whatever bolts you end up with, two things to keep in mind:
-Conventional wisdom is you need 6 turns for proper thread engagement with a 14mm shank like BMW uses
-Be sure you order the correct bolt seat- cone or ball seat. Not all wheels are the same and buying the wrong ones will cause the wheel to not hold torque.

In my research, it appears the majority of posters stated 33mm.
Tirerack's computer says 30mm.

I just measured the bolts that I used with my HRE's.
Only 27mm.

So now it's turning into a POLL .
Should I go with 30mm bolts or 33mm

And for those wondering why not use the OEM bolts....I can't.
I need a 14mm , 1.5 cone with a 17mm head.
