Did you actually see the piece coming off the airplane? I'm assuming that this happened right by Newark Liberty since they fly right over the TP.

no i didnt see it come off. but i KNOW for a fact its from a plane

Wow, that's scary.....I used to work there as an airplane mech. for many years and I never heard anything like that happen.

Sorry about your car. I didn't see any airplane parts yesterday or even hear about it that weird. But at least your okay.

the bad part of it was, when the car in front of me hit it first.. it looked like a cardboard piece. but when it hit the floor it hit HARD i know for a fact it was an aluminum piece.
