Driver's Sun Visor Problem... Anyone !!!!
 

Hi I have a 05 X5 less then 22K, the driver's visor snapped @ the corner hinge .... does anyone know if this is covered under warranty ????????? Thanks for any inputs... I will try to post some pictures later on.

That happened to me too. It is NOT covered under any warranty. I purchased it from the dealer and installed it myself. I don't think they stock that part either, so it will have to be ordered. Good luck.

why would this not be a warranty claim? I would expect my dealer to fix it under warranty

Well I did a search and I need some info on how to remove the sunvisor as I have a broken arm on my Passenger side.

Plus if anyone has a line on a replacement I'd be gratefull.

2005? most likely out of factory warranty by now, but it would be covered under the original factory warranty. plastic fatigue.

Experienced this on the CEO's X several years ago...dealer repaired under warranty.

BTW....... the dealer replace it under warranty................:D
