What do you think about this one? Higher mileage but priced accordingly. I don't like the aftermarket navigation, particularly the trim around it. It doesn't seem to be well taken care of though.. What do you think?

great price!

You'd actually be foolish to judge the value of the car strictly on pictures and incomplete vehicle description on craigslist. good and bad are relative and subjective.

it says nothing about the care and condition. With mileage like that, you'd be daring to buy that car out of warranty and CPO coming from a honda dealer...

Consider why the previous owner would trade in a car like a 4.6 to a honda dealer and you'll start thinking like a potential owner rather than a tire kicker.

Looks like mine...kinda high miles any extended warranty??
Remember brakes tires are very $$$$
It looks clean..

Be patient and keep looking for the right car with no compromises. You'll know it when you see it.

What ever X5 you end up with be sure to get an extended warrantee.

A lot of things can wrong with a X5 as it ages.

Thanks to all for chipping in your thoughts. How would you compare the drive of 4.6is with 4.4i? As far as the gas mileage is concerned, they are pretty much the same. I'd like to consider 2004+ 4.8is but I can't justify myself for paying the difference in price.

These two have a totally different set up. I've had both and let me tell you, I couldn't wait to trade my 4.4i for my 4.6is. The gearing is different, the exhaust note is noticable different, even the steering is different. Get yourself a 4.6is or a 4.8is if they are in your price range. No disrepect to the 4.4i, but it's not the same...............Phil

I went to check it out today. The X5 had issues and wasn't really well taken care of to my standard, so I decided to pass this one. Still actively looking...

I would get a 2004 mid year or newer, 4.8 or 4.4 if can't afford the 4.8.
