X5 CD Changer Installation
 

Hi, I'm preparing to purchase a cd changer on ebay for my 03 X5 (no nav) .... There is no mounting hardware in my compartment at all.... I see some bracket kits on ebay for 15 bucks, but they look like an add on...not big enough in my opinion. what do I need to start from scratch.....

can i suggest something? Why don't you just get DICE, so you dont have limited no. of discs to play and you can play thousands of songs from your ipod? Used changers sometimes jams and it can save you that trouble. Oh and also, it displays song title and artists name.

The dealers sell the CD Changer mounting kit for about $30+ when I bought mine 4 years ago. If you search around, some will sell it for about $20. Here's a picture of what the kit should look like installed.
