Improving handling on 4.8is???

Any PROVEN mods to improve the handling on the 4.8is, without killing the ride comfort(not that its exactly smooth now). I wouldn't mind just tightening it up a bit further, its not bad right now at all, but there is always room for improvement. Possible to add camber plates, they are not listed on the Dinan website for the 4.8is last I checked since I saw some members running them on other models. Not even sure if they could or would work with the front air suspension.
Thanks in advance.

stalker. how about this.
Finally, a way to lower BMWs that have rear air suspensions! If you've always wanted to lower your X5 with air rear suspension, now you can. This kit includes a pair of lowering springs for the front and a pair of adjustable end links for the rear. These end links slightly modify the suspension geometry, which causes the self leveling system to believe that your BMW's rear end is riding to high, so it lets some air out of the suspension and voila!-the rear of the car is lowered to match the front. Please note: Only for vehicles with rear air suspension

Part Number Description Price Qty. SK SLKIT X5 Air Suspension Lowering Kit
$409.95

I will contact them, but Im a little skeptical as to how much of an improvement it would actually be in the handling department.

I think the best way to get more out if it is to throw on some seriously good adjustable sway bars(nice and thick), but I have to yet find any. If they were adjustable, that would allow you to tune the handling characteristics a bit too.

Thanks for the info and find.

Wow looks like Bav took my idea after talking with him on the phone... I contacted him to see if he would be interested in buying them (endlinks) from me in bulk. We talked pricing, etc... Guess they decided to snatch my idea and make their own.

I'm selling them for the rear for $45 shipped if your interested, Rob

Looks great, but I didn't feel any difference. I have not pushed it hard since I had it installed though.

I'm somewhat skeptical of lowering springs for the front that are stiffer than OE, and just lowering the rear without a corresponding increase in stiffness. It's going to induce more understeer to the handling.
