Eta Beta Tettsut wheels.

I wanted them as well, and it took me ages to find out what they were.

Sick thanks for the info! They're great looking wheels for this car. Can I ask how much they ended up running you? Did you do a powder coat black?

TheGodfather 08-27-2009 04:02 PM

Sorry, I meant I considered these wheels.

I never purchased them though.

From what I remember from my search they are hard to find on an English site (mostly dutch? German?), and they are quite expensive.

The black ones in 20+ are even harder to come by.

Last time I checked ebay has chrome ones and chrome insert ones in 18 inch. Very ugly imo.

Thanks for the input! I found a dealer that carries them and they're only 1600 for 9x20's.. 22's run about 2,300.. Not to bad. 22's definitely fill out nicer. How much did you 168's run you? They look clean. Did the 22's rub at all or any issues with the wheel size difference? Thanks Godfather!

TheGodfather 08-27-2009 05:43 PM

No problem,

The 168's were dirt cheap from lakeshore wheels at under $700, the Toyo Proxes S/T tires I bought online were effing expensive after shipping and canadian taxes
(1400 tires + 160 ship + 180 tax)

Expensive considering the cost of the wheels i should say.

In reality I got a great deal, because every store I called in calgary was quoting me 500+ for each tire. If I lived in the states it would have been an unreal deal.

There is no rubbing, and so far not any issues with the larger wheel size OTHER THAN a bumpier ride compared with 17inch rims, which is a price you pay for oversized wheels. No tire pressure, puncture warning messages or anything.

Awesome! Great info. I really like those 168's on the E53. That's an awesome price also.. I didn't realize they made them in 22's. I thought they only came in 20's. Thanks again for all the help! I'll post some pics once i decide what I want to do :)
