Taking 05 4.4i in on Sat. for 2 common probs with this model

I have heard at least three of us complain about the:

1) gearing set too high as we turn residential corners. The 4.4i will stay at about 1000 RPM (in 4th gear, I believe) as you gently get on the gas coming out of the turn; thus bogging it down and actually vibrating some rear end components - prob. the exhaust.

2) Very rough slow starts when engine is cold and moderately rough slow starts when warm. I just can't ease away from a stop in a line of traffic without it feeling lungy.

I'm dropping it off Saturday and will report back. I can predict it now... "Could not duplicate problem. Normal operations." We'll see...
