help X5 audio output intermittent fault

hi, i am just wondering if there is any chance that someone could help me. My X5 is giving me problems with no sound at the speaker and sometimes intermittent sound output. I have checked there is no amplifier at the back so what might be the fault? Need help please. Thanks
