Part identification help

Does anyone know what is the "Suppression Filter" P/N 61 35 0 421 886 and where it is located?

Appears to be a part associated with: "RETROFIT KIT, HEADLIGHT CLEANING SYSTEM" - or it is the whole kit. Suggest you get online with someone like realoem.com to check further since you didn't list year, engine or options.

How do you come up with that assessment? The description and p/n are from the ETK / Realoem. The part is present in tons of BMW's. I just want to know what it is.

No problem. Thanks for taking the time to try though.

I think it's supposed to be a Noise Filter... The Arrow in the diagram on realoem seems real helpful in pointing to where it is located. lol.

Bump. Anyone know where this filter goes, what it actually does and what it looks like in real life?
