anyone had this yet? what's the procedure and how much will it cost me??

Shouldn't cost you anything provided you arent over 50k miles. Maintence warranty 4yr/50k covers brakes. :)

i just hit 52k miles.. =(

Sweet talk your dealer, since you are only 2K over they may agree to cover you as "good will".

I had the same problem months ago. Somehow I had fixed it myself without any cost.

My problem was due to a bad connection between light base (unit) and the mount plate. Brake light unit is in the lower lid. You can just simply remove the inside lid cover, unplug brake light unit and examine the tension of unit's both side wing. Brake unit looks like this: -(o)- ; "o" is the light bulb and "-" is the side wing. If tension of the side wing is loose, slightly lift it up a bit. Sand if necessary.

since it sounds like you're past your warranty, if you haven't done so, install the Axxis dustless brake pads. Many of us have done this and I doubt there's anyone out there that regrets it.

where do i get the brake pads? i think im going to get the whole brake system done at the same time.. as well as a coolant flush and alignment..
