wide screen in the x5??? help.

i have a question for all of you computer in x5 dudes. i have a 2003 x5 without navigation. im looking to get a dubble din unit for my x5 but i hate the extra space that is not filled by anything but plastic. the stock navigation has buttens in the space. the dubble din kit has nothing but plastic. i have found alot of diffrent options for radios with screens to install but no wide screens. im looking for a wide screen to fill the full space and use all the avalible space with screen. in this day and age of tech. some one should sell a wide screen to fill up all the space in the x5 dash. anyone know of any place that sells or who can make a wide screen radio to fit? if i can get the screen i can install.

can anyone stop X5 having an electronic fit everytime some stupid electrical fault happens , for example , can the engine management and transmission be made to function normally when anything else fails or do we have to suffer trans failsafe prog whenever something else has problem because this feckin car is driving me mad .

im looking for a wide screen to fill the space that the factory navigation size. if i put an aftermarket double din radio in it place it will not be big enough to fill in all the space. i know they sell the aftermarket install kit but it has alot of extra space. im looking to fill it all up. so i guess it would have to be 8" or 8.5 " wide and 4" high. if im going to install one i want the best looking. i dont see a double din looking good.

I have TV, but not satnav. I'm hoping that I can hook up a car PC to the video aux input of the TV, then hook up one of Rolf's iBus connectors so that I can read the key presses on the factory buttons. I want everything to look standard up front...
Cheers
Scott.
