I added the factory hitch to my 4.4l and it was a piece of cake. If you or anyone you know has a code reader the check engine light and service engine soon light usually throw a code. Mine recently had the same symptoms after having my valve cover gaskets changed and it ended up being a lose coil wire on two banks. Might be terminal and might not. That said I would not consider any BMW with front end damage.

Yeah, I think I will move on... I'm going to take my time and look at as many specimens as I can.
