I know it can get confusing a first, but it's not really all that bad. OK...I just bought all their stuffs for snowboarding as well. You baiscally only need 4 items:
1) Crossroad 450 Footpack
2) LB58 crossbars
3) 724 or 725 Flat top ski rack attachment depending on whether you want to carry 2 or 4 snowboards (I'll go with the 725 for carring 4 boards as it is only a $10 price difference).
4) Six pack lock cores (you'll need 4 for the feet and 2 for the board attachment)
You can also get the optional fairing a well...to help reduce wind noise, but I figured, it's gonna get noisy anyway with the boards and bindings on the roof that it might not make that much of a difference....so I skipped it.
Installation is pretty easy. The Thule website have all the installation instruction...if you want to take a quick glance at them. It took me about 20minutes to put it on because I was learning everything as I go. I would say it should take no longer than 10minutes once you get familiar with the setup.
