Hi, i was just looking at the mod to paint ur own titanium kidney grill. I was just wondering if anyone knows if any primer was used? None of the pictures shows a primer being put on, and i'm a tad bit worried the paint might start to flake off if none is applied. Anyone know if it's a necessary step? Thnx

Rough them up with super fine grit sand paper or steel wool and use a primer without a doubt IMO. Also... :xoutpost:

:iagree: definitely need to prime it.....did it with mine and so far no ploblem at all!

i suppose a high quality auto primer should do it...
