Performance of the Hoen HID match bulbs?
 

My Hoen's arrived today. H11's for my 03 4.4i

Will fit tonight. I have a lot of experience with Sylvannia Silverstars which has been good and some bad experiences with PIAA as they invariably had very short life spans.

So, for those that have them... are they all show and no go or are they actually decent bulbs that perform as they should ?

They are actually decent bulbs! It's hard to tell though, since the color belnds in with the xenons... But they are great bulbs!

I didn't have much luck with mine in my fog lights - typically lasted a few months. But then again they were H3 bubls and it seems that bulb design doesn't last long no matter who makes it. That's why I switched to HIDs :thumbup:

Installed tonight in under 10 mins...waiting for dark for a road test.

Took a quick road test last night. They are not an exact match but much, much closer. Underwhelmed with the perfromance.

Tonight I will put one stock bulb back in and compare performance, not color.

They actually match better the farther you get away from them, but yeah, never really saw a difference in performance (lighting/ brightness).
