aluminum running boards
 

hey guys, quick question, i want to get the alum running boards, they got them on ebay for 565 + 87 shipping and claim to come with the fender flares to fit in the kit. if i buy from dealer will those come with fender flares too? or no? i just dont get it too much technical bs :dunno:

The kit comes with the flares. You have a 4.4 right?

yup. so ok if i go to like pacific bmw or circle bmw and order the running boards they come with EVERYthing that i need?

You will have plenty of extra rivets in the kit. Even if you run out of the long rivets...there will be plenty of expanding rivets to finish the job. And dont skimp...buy the plastic rivet gun...it is easy to use..and actually quite fun...

I notice that you live in NYC. If you are OK to make a trip to Wayne, NJ you can pick-up from Paul Miller BMW for 25% off list. for 543+6% NJ sales tax =576. Call them before hand and tell them that you have 25% coupon for accessories from Roundel magazine. The r/b kit comes with non-flared arches. I just went thru the process and had to pay extra for flares :mad:

Wow... that's an expensive mod. They look great, but, man, that's a lot of money... Phew!

You need the extra flares because you have a 4.8is. I don't think he needs those flares as his is a 4.4i.
