Transfer Case and Diff's

I am doing some 30K mile maintinance. I have never owned a car (truck) with a transfer case or diff in the front.

So my questions are:

1. Where the heck is the transfer case? Is this a simple drain and fill procedure?

2. Where the heck is the front diff? Is it obvious once I drop the lower engine cover. I'll assume the rear diff is in plain site, just like my 540?

With all the great write ups on the main page I am surprised there is no link for these items.

Thanks for the help.

Mark,

It was purposely left missing to be filled-in with your DIY write-up. :nanana:

The transfer case is right after the transmission. The drain and fill plugs are visable. The front differtial is visable after you remove the aluminum skid plate. I changed my driveline fluids at about 80K miles and the fluid looked like new. I changed all the driveline fluids myself in a couple of hours.

Any idea what the capacity is for each (how much fluid is needed).
