Adaptive Head Lights
 

I have adaptive headlight on my x5 and in the manual, it says the adaptive headlights only turns to the left (passenger) direction and not driver to avoid blinding on coming cars. Is this true? I swear when i drive it, on right corner turns, i notice the lights moves right. Also does the adaptive headlights also moves up and down depending on rear weight of heavier loads?

They are bi-directional.
Yes, to the 2nd. I love them, they wiggle up and down the whole time, lights will adjust according to load in X. (CAn be a source of irritation for those infront of you)

The lights will only move right if you are moving. While you're parked, they only move left and back to center - give it a try and you'll see.

Hmm, I swear the lights move left and right (b-directional) when moving. Maybe i was on drugs lol....

Nice to know about the up and down and that it indeed does do it!
