What does the Exclusive Edition mean ?
 

I have recently bought an X5 2005 3.0d sport and it says on the bmw paperwork it is an exclusive edition.

I was wondering what made it an Exclusive Edition, i.e extra specification or something ?

exclusive edition had extra spec - can't remember what though. Possibly Nappa leather, standard nav, bigger alloys, exclusive paint - I think LeMans blue.....might be more

Mine is Sterling Grey with Dakota Light Beige Leather. It does have the comms pack and 19"s. I've searched the web but can't find the "Exclusive Edition" listed in any model history info...............

I think you mean "Executive Edition" which is we have up here when dealers were trying to push out the '06 X5. They're just extra options added at no cost to the buyers.

Exclusive Edition came in se and sport modes and came with 2 paint choice,s [stratus grey , carbon black ] and 2 trim colours in nappa leather [ cinnamon , ecru].

High-gloss shadowline

Exclusive 18" alloys 183 on the se

And 132 19" alloys on the sport

Matt chrome cluster surronds

Co-ordinating floor mats with the interior piping round the edge

Black chrome exshaust surrounds on petrol models

Titanium air-intake surronds on front bumper on the sport models

All taken from the brochere and i had a carbon black sport one as well :D
