Center Console Advice
 

I am needing to replace the mechanism on my center console (armrest), I drive a 2000 Oxford Green X5 with the sports package. The loaner console I have found with a working mechanism is black instead of tan like what is in there right now (wood color is the same). Seeing how i have a black dash and headliner I was considering replacing the whole console to give it just a slight mod and I was wondering how everyone thought it would look.

I have tan seats, tan door, tan carpet but the top half is black and my wood color is the lighter one i believe it is called ash. What do you guys think?

As well if anyone has pictures of this it would be greatly appreciated.
