Rims 87's 20 inch

I was also looking for some 87's for our x5 to replace the 19" Y wheels. I found a guy looking to sell his MINT condition Replicas with some worn tires for $400 but he was 3.5 hours away. I thought that the rears were bald(20%) and the fronts were decent (50%) of the diamaris tires. I tried to get him to deliver to me up in Seattle, but he said he would just see if anyone local was interested. To make a long story short, I headed out to get them the next day.

8 Hours later, I had them Mounted them on the car and they look sweet. Keep looking for these rims as they are getting more and more available especially with the replicas out there. Mine say BMW stamped on the outside of the rim, but I doubt they are OEM.

Good luck.

HAHA. thats funny. I looked at them carefully and the do in fact say BWM. Reading it upside down and backwards it reads BMW. I knew they were knockoffs when I purchased them, but at least they are in perfect condition and tires will last through the summer and save my 19" new tires from 4-5 months of wear.

LOL Yeah...that's the easiest way to tell if they are OEM or Replicas.

The reps generally dont have the correct stampings, or any at all....you dont even have to look that close to tell. Also, the center cap is a dead giveaway.
