New Icon on Nav - No upgrade either..
 

Hi
Since Saturday, there seems to be a new icon on my Nav screen (No I havent done any map or os upgrades since last year). It sorta looks like a Dice cube (1 dot-2 dots-3dots).. Did I get a virus from parking too close to the other X5s on Saturday? :-)

Or is this something I pressed accidentally..?

Did you do a new search recently? If so, that can add icons on the display they weren't there before.

Post a pic so if you can.

Dont think I did.. I never search for gas stations, POI, etc

is it in the top right corner?

that option can be turned on/off if you go to setting and HIDE ICONS; and refer to your manual and it says what those type of icons are.

Looks like a dice? That would be a great POI icon for a casino!

No..seems to be centered around something..It's not replaced the (bite my tongue) Infiniti looking logo either.. My son just took a pic with his camera phone. I'll see how it looks and it's too hard to see due to the sunlight, I'll wait until it gets a little darker (and hopefully cooler)

Nope..just an old cemetary.. but it moves with me..which is also bizarre..

When the car is parked in my driveway, it's sitting on a cemetary site..none of my relatives are buried there..Actually it's sort of a monument with headstones that go back to the 1800s..

Maybe there is a box of money buried under one of them????

If it moves when you move, that's really weird... probably a program 'artifact' I don't have an in-dash NAV only a Garmin, but have you tried rebooting/resetting the NAV? But you'll probably lose all your saved info too if that's in labile memory.

Until now I didn't know you can Google map a postal code. THANKS... learned something today too, got a birds-eye-view of Metuchen, NJ as well.

BTW I pass on the dig... gives me the creeps just thinking about it... but who know's might be Jimmy Joffa it found.
