Adaptive headlights - how to test?

Is there a way to test if the adaptive headlights are working - short of driving down a twisty back-country road at 2x the speed limit at night?

"Sorry officer, I was just testing my headlights."?:D

Park it or put in drive in front of a garage door or wall, turn steering wheel and see if the adaptive lights move. I've done that while pulling out of my driveway and noticed the lights moving toward the direction of the turn.

I filmed myself doing it in the animated gif:

Thanks... I'll try that!

BTW the gifs were a great idea!
