Hi can anyone help I have just got my X5 and I am trying to upgrade my sat nav map from a 2005-2 to a 2008, I bought the dvd from ebay and it came with a software upgrade. But when I try to upgrade the software sometimes it says the is an error reading the disc and other times it says it cant find a disc. The software current in the car is 4-1/50 and it is a 55 plate (is this the most upto date software ?) As I cant search for a destination with a post code.:dunno:

Can anyone shed some lght

It sounds to me like either you received a bad disk, or the laser on your nav drive is starting to fail.
