18" to 20" wheels do I need an alignment?

HI

I just got 20" 87's. I used to have 18"x8.5 wheels and now i have 20"x 10 wheels. Do I need an alignment? I really don't want to waste money on one if you guys don't think its needed. thanks for any input.

I just did an alignment yeasterday and to me it just felt right. I got a brand new set of tires for my OEM 87's and I want them to last as long as possible, FYI my 2004 X5 with +/- 50K miles had a rear wheels off by 12 & 13 degrees and my prievious set of tires got killed accordingly

Acutally I should have mentioned I have 20x10.5 all around. My car kinda shakes once in awhile while driving. Is this a bad setup? I thought it was my balance but i got it balanced already and it still shakes. Any idea? if it because the 20x10.5 in the front is too side? will an alignment help?
any adive would be great.

correction bad typing. is it because the 20x10.5 is too wide is what i meant to type .....?

it sounds like tramlining, thats where wide tyres pick every fault in the road surface and try to follow it.
