passenger door wont open!
 

i have a 2004 x5 4.4 and my passenger door wont open from the inside or outside. even when i manually try to open it from the inside it doesnt do anything.

what is the problem? or what needs to be replaced.

Hi! A lot of folks have experienced that and have posted the same problem as yours, including moi. Using the "Search" option would give you some answers. But just to let you know, it's most likely your door handle carrier needs to be replaced. Good luck!

I had the same problem. With the window down try to bang the door from inside and from outside, nice and soft. You might be lucky to have the parts back in place for a second and be able to open it. If it doesn't work then you'll have to get it to dealer. I tried to take the panel off with the door closed. It didn't work.
