As stated in a previous post, these were purchased from Eurotech. They looked great in the boxes in my basement, but once they were pulled out and really looked over, I would give them an 8 out of 10. Paint job definitely is not factory quality. There were a few knicks around the edge of the rims, but nothing really major. There are a few "wavy" places in the paint. But as they say, you get what you pay for - $950 including shipping, new lugs with locks, and hub rings. Overall (and from 5 feet back :D) they look fantastic. Hey, at least they were round!!

I figure in a few years when they get beat up, I will just pay to have a good paint job put on them. I am still thrilled with my purchase.

Congrats! They look great!

(Glad to see your wife let you take them out of the basement!)

ZsX5o3 06-30-2008 03:12 AM

is that Hyper silver? Quite a dramatic change!

Essam Khafagi 06-30-2008 04:25 AM

They look great!
I agree with the suggested other mods above

X5Dawg 06-30-2008 08:47 AM

Thanks for all of the great replies. As far as the other mods, it took me 4 years to get a new set of wheels, so I am going to just drive em and enjoy em!!

KingCon 06-30-2008 09:14 AM

Nice, you got her back from the shop! The rims look great, huge upgrade!

Essam Khafagi 06-30-2008 10:46 AM

What's the website of Eurotech?

rastaFarai 06-30-2008 10:57 AM

Not 100% sure.. you can find their store on ebay but you will have to call them for any BMW wheels. Just know the style # you are looking for and size etc.

Hey did i mention I like how the trim was painted silver?

Thanks - got them from jlevisw.com. Installed myself using "bake and break" method.

streetsoffire 06-30-2008 02:01 PM

X5Dawg: That may be the most attractive style wheel BMW makes for the X5........ WOW! Wheels are total WIN. Next two mods: Remove roof rack and drop it like its hot.......trust me on this.......

X5Dawg 06-30-2008 02:32 PM

I would definitely consider the drop if I still did not use mine for utility. I replaced my F150 Supercrew (which was lowered) with the X5 and a utility trailer. I need the X to be able to leave the pavement when desired.

Plus, if I lower it I wouldn't be able to drag the chipper around thru the woods!! :D
