Where to get replica running boards...
 

hey guys ive been searchin for a little while about the replica running boards with the X5 etching in them. From what i can gather from this post

I need to get a hold of wayne at bav motorwerks. Only thing is i search and search and cant find a website for bavmotorwerks or bavarian motorwerks. Anyone have a phone number or a website to get these boards? Thanks everyone for you help....

Thanks for the quick reply. I hadnt seen their ebay stuff so that definetly helps. I just e-mailed [email protected] i figured thats the best way to get a hold of them since an e-mail is all i can find. Im only interested in the boards with the X5 etching on them so i hope they have em.

Hey, just a suggestion...for the price that you will pay for the replica running boards.....if you hold on to that cash and save $250.00 more, you can go to Morris Twon and get some OEM like me! You can even put the word out here for where to get the best deal and i'm sure peeps will chime in and let you know where and how much....I paid $570.00 Shipped! When I got that word out more than one memeber here replied and said they even got them cheaper...

Remember either way it will look good...but the OEM ...are Nice!

Man I wish I get a set of OEM boards for 570.00 I'll even pay shipping. Of course I need the flairs too :(

have you figured out a solution for rear flares with RBs? id like to get the flares but from what i can tell it looks weird cause the RBs dont come with an extension that would give it a seamless appearance.

I talked to Moristown, they have the flairs... but I do not know what exactly it will look like. Not sure on the RB thing yet

RBs and flares dont match up. u will see what i mean after you install them. looks odd.

Odd makes me want to go aftermarket stick-on. less hassle and still look good. Who knows, it's on my list. I have time. The Heated M wheel or C/F trim is next up.

Can you take a few pics? Interested of the mess. you would think you drop that kind of cash, and it should look perfect.
