X5 computer problems? Or electrical?
On my way home today I experienced a few problems. They were:
My automatic sensor wipers worked when I turned it one click up. It went at the same speed the whole time but this is the first time I seen the one click up work. My suspension (arrows pointing up/down) was on. It seems to come on when there is 4-5 people in the suv and then turns off over time. My stereo did not work when I tried the button (usually does). I tried pushing the lock/unlock button on my key and it wouldn't lock/unlock. I plugged in my code reader and nothing came up. It showed no errors. I have the peake research tool. Do you think these problems are related and do you think its a computer or electrical problem? |
Check battery voltage
Just replaced the altenator a few months back. Battery was replaced about 2 years ago.

Will have it checked out.
Oh, today the stereo came back on and everything worked fine. That was after it sit for probably 24 hours of no usage. |
My suspension light is still on.
Check the fuse for the suspension.
Something I noticed when some of the above errors went away (except for the leveling thing) my wiper stopped working on the first click.
Checked a few fuses and All three fuses were good.
I actualy removed the rain sensor fuse since it wasn't working anyway and now my one click up on the windshield wiper works. Quote:

What problems are you still having???
Some noise is coming from my back wheel wells. Only when the truck is in motion, I think it might be the tires because it only makes the noise when in motion and its a circlier sound.
I hope its suspension! The rear suspension was replaced less then a year ago!
Try rotating your tires
kk.Its presently at the shop.
They looked at it, heard no noises and the suspension light was not on for them!! The kicker is they don't have the software to check the suspension error code. Sounds like a trip to BMW is now needed. I called them back and asked them to rotate the tires. |
