Oil Service Reset issue
 

hey guys, i cannot get this to work... I changed my oil and now trying to reset the OIL SERVICE light.

When i turn key to position 1 i get a message OILSERVICE -175miles

Tried to do the usual reset: hold the odometer (left) button, turn key to pos 1, i get a "--test-- --1.--" and then it changes to "reset OILSERVICE -175miles SIA" then reset starts flashing so i let go of odo. button and press again.. it stops flashing and says "end SIA" but the OILSERVICE indicator did not get reset.. still flashes OILSERVICE -175miles when i start the car..... help please

(this is for a 2002 325i... i have a 2003 x5 and with the green lights indicator and can reset it with no prob.)


*SOLVED*
nevermind, finally got it done after messing around with it for a while.. i guess after "reset" starts flashing i only need to let go, press and let go again.. while i was pressing and holding... so now its on INSPECTION 15525 .. i guess thats normal.
