Have the dealer turn that off in car and key memory, thats where you can turn on/off the daytime running lights, door locking after drive off, remember last radio/ac/seat setting per key (gives you a his/hers with 2 keys) etc. They will probably charge you 0.5 hour labor, but you can have them turn it off.

it sucks that i have to pay to have something that should be natural!

Also , there is an option to open all the windows and sunroof pressing the open button , why there is not an option to close all of then pressing the closing button? Mistery...

The car and key memory settings are set to the customers liking for free when it is purchased new, if you recently bought it used from a dealer, you can probably talk them into setting it for you...

As for the "convenience opening" unfortuneately thats just the way its been on all BMW's with that option, you have to stick your key in the ignition and turn to the lock position and hold it to close all of them. I don't know why they never set it to go up with the remote, probably because there is a "panic" option for the oem alarm that uses that button...

I think turning it off is unnatural. It is designed to be on. Improves ventilation, reduces humidity in winter. I haven't turned an airconditioner off in 20 years.

You can't raise the windows because BMW disabled that feature in the USA. You get it in Europe. They apparently were nervous of being sued by people who got their neck trapped in the window when they sat on their key fob.

Conventional wisdom says if I turn something off, I want it off. I don't need the car turning it on for me. But this is just one of several stupid things about the climate ctrl system. Don't get me started on that stupid wheel thingy between the vents.

i've noticed that if i keep turning it off before i shut the car off. Eventually it "remembers" and keeps it off when i start it the next time. But then if I have to use the AC for some reason, the whole process starts all over again.

When I turn off my AC with the * button, my AC Stays off until I push the button again no matter how many times I start the car.. The AC also able to be turned off while in the auto mode too.

Don't blame the people, blame the system!!! If the government made people accountable for their own actions, then they would not allow those kind of lawsuits. But I digress...
