..........Yes the Mod Bug Bit for the 16th time this year!!

Well - I was supposed to pull the trigger on the BSW stage 1 upgrade, which I will be doing over the next month or so as I will DIY that install while the weather is still nice, so no later than the end of October.......but in the meantime I pulled the trigger on these bad boys!! I know Vince - X5Dawg - Rasta - and Tom(mrbmwx5) will appreciate this mod! :nanana: The pics below just do not do justice....for 495 I had to jump on these 215 reps!! Be careful Eurotech will try to sell you a lug nut package that you just don't need, but other than that easy to deal with! Ordered on the phone and shipping to my office! :) I'll ride my 22's out and then next spring these will go on! Plenty of time to decide which tires I want. Any recommendations on tires would be helpful from the gang..specific sizes. I need to be educated on tires for these staggered 20's!!

Have a great holiday weekend!!

congrats on the new purchase, you just gave me an idea, to buy the rims now while its pretty cheap, and have it installed later on...

RichiRich 08-28-2008 07:03 PM

Yeah - definitely!! Once these go at Eurotech....i'm not sure we will find these at these prices again! They have 87' 168's 214' 215's..... a very big choice at a very good price for reps! A few have already jumped on the deal! I almost bought two just for shytes and giggles!

Be careful on the 87's it seems as though they are not staggered.........

Give them a call and ask to be sure that they are staggered!

how is the finish and quality on the eurotech rims?

moneytree 08-28-2008 10:26 PM

Mtree

I have been thikning of getting the 21size.

As I am based in Asia, we do not have the 325 tires here. Does anyone know how I could get them on, before shipping over here?

eurotech does not do tires....

The one and only reason I stayed away from the 21's is because of the cost of the actual tires. Because the 21's are such and odd fitting the price on the tires is just tooooo expensive.. My 22's (tires) were way less than what the 21's were coming in at! With that said I rolled with the 20's! I'll do 6 months of 20's and 6 of 22's!!

as for me, I wont be getting the 215s in 21, cant find the wheels for them as dunlop doesnt carry them in this part of the world

That is exactly why I did not go to the 21's.......not too many choices for tires and that drives the price up!!

I have been told...Bridgestone....Michelin's.....Vredesteins.. ...exactly the ones I thought I would hear! Size wise....do 275/40/20 FR
315/35/20 RR.

I'll keep you posted as I look this week!
