trunk latch stop , X5 E53
 

Hi!
Could anyone please tell me how the trunk latch stop (51247141879) is attached to the rear hatch ?
(ses photos)

I found mine on the floor near the car, I don't know if it's broken or I can glue it back to the door.

I have a facelifted bmw X5 E53.
