LED Rear Signals
 

I want to order a set of rear LED turn signals for the rear. Now on Jlevi they say that the resistors can reach 300 degrees. Is this true of the rears since they are only on when the turn signal is activated? And if it is true where is a safe place to mount them at so nothing melts/burns.



Edit: I placed the order, but if anyone has any tips on where to put the rear resistors, please let me know.

i just got and installed these for my x !! i got fronts and rears , i skipped the resistors and am having absolutely no prob's !!

just ordered for a friend aswell and they jlevi said as long as there isnt any bulb out warnings which there isnt its all good !!!

btw they look crazy , i got the white/zenon color and they are amazing !!

LI-x5 Did you just buy the bulbs and then plug and play? Nothing else needed? On Jlevi's site it doesn't say they have our bulb size for the front signal lamps. our bulbs for front signal lamps is 3457 i think. On the site it says they have the 3157 size bulbs. Will those work?

i have no idea about bulb sizes , but yes i got all 3 from jlevi , i got fr , rear and reverse lights from them and they were all plug and play !! they did say i needed resistors and they sent em but we never installed them !!
all works good !

I installed the rear LEDs and LED reverse lights that I got from Jlevis and the only problem I had was the LED reverse lights sent an error to the dash so I swapped them out with normal bulbs and the LED rear assemblies look great and work fine.

Some cars seem to need resistors and if your car does, there is plenty of room in the back to mount it behind the OEM carpeting against the chassis to ensure it does not damage any components.
